I prefer 6X8 but you can make as big or small as you like.

This file may not open in select design software. Does not work in Cricut Design. 

The size can be manipulated in Glowforge and the design can be changed in Inkscape or silhouette.

For cutting in glowforge:
I use 1/8" acrylic with the medium acrylic proof grade setting expect for cutting is a different speed, you can use the material you wish to use at the settings that work for your machine.
